The Ohariu Valley Golf Club is a club that places a heavy emphasis on fun, enjoyment of the game of golf and camararderie amongst members.
To support these aims, the club runs its club days every week (see the 'Members competitions' paragraph below for times), and on each club day the competition is held as a “disc draw” and with a “shotgun start”. A competition fee of $3 applies to enter the Club’s events.
The “Disc Draw” consists of each player being randomly selected to play in groups of four. As a result everyone gets to eventually play with everyone else and gets to meet all the other members.
The “Shotgun Start” means that all the randomly selected groups of four start at the same time at different tees. This means that everyone finishes at the same time and are welcome to all socialise together afterwards.
Members competitions are run on Saturday & Wednesday afternoons from 12 - 4.30. Depending on numbers playing, the course may be closed to visitors during this time. There is also a members competition held on Sunday afternoons so please give way to those members.

Our Summer membership for each year commences on 1st October. If you wish to join the Summer Membership of the club, we offer the summer membership packages from September and more information will be available here then.
The Club will allow use of Golf Carts/Motorbikes when a member/visitor is unable to walk 18 holes and a medical certificate supports this. An application, in writing, must be made to the Club’s Match sub-committee for approval. The full policy is displayed on the Club notice board. To check our fees, see the fees information below.

# These amounts may be paid on a monthly basis BUT discount is available for lump sum payment of the subscription. Maximum sub of $70 per month (for full men or women membership), with discounts available for payment in full on joining (see details above alongside each fee amount).
